Richard J. Boote - Artist

After many years as a professional Architectural artist and Technical Illustrator working for several prestigious companies and disciplines, Richard originates from the period when all design drawing of any kind was executed with technical pen and pencil; the era of the properly trained draughtsman.

He has also enjoyed a lifelong interest in all things scientific and esoteric, and confesses to being somewhat obsessed by the nature of our physical reality and the unseen spiritual realms beyond human perception.

Over the course of time, these theories (of which he is incredibly well read)have become the basis of a highly detailed and symbolic style of Surrealist Art, which is truly unique.

Although incredibly prolific, most of his pieces take many hours to complete, and are therefore much sought after. Those that are released in print form are always limited to no more than fifty, and nearly always accrue in value from the day of sale. He has sold his work to private and corporate clients in many countries of the world.

His next public exhibition will be at Chasewater Visitor Centre in Staffordshire during march/April 2010. Anyone wishing to view his work privately can do so by appointment. Contact details are as follows:
